Fish Reports November

st Ten foot seas and north east winds found us fishing offshore. It was rough but we hung in there and caught some nice dolphin. Nice work by our anglers!

rd Hurricane Michelle is coming!!! We fished inside today in the canals and backwaters. A few jacks were all we could get. We all hope the winds stop a blowin'

th Some kingss are biting on the reef in 130 feet of water A tiger shark was caught today by another boat and a few dolphin are way offshore if you have the time.

th We ran a mid-day trip today and had some great luck kite fishing. We got a beautiful cobia about thirty pounds which went nuts when we gaffed it and tore the place up. Then we caught a huge sailfish and our customers took it for a trophy. Gray taxidermy is right here in south florida and we use them to help customers get their trophy of a lifetime as often as we are lucky enough. Come give it a try! Im in for a cold one.

th Bad fishing today

th We changed tactics today and did some bottom fishing on our two four hour trips. We caught a bunch of cool little sharks off the bottom, Atlantic Sharpnose Sharks. We also caught and released some jacks and caught a few kings on the reef. One was around twenty pounds.

th Catching some cero and spanish mackerel in on the reef today. We also caught a huge mutton snapper on one of the wreaks in Broward countys plentyful artificial reef system.

th What a great day of fishing! In the morning we set out the kites and got plenty of action with dolphin up to twentyfive pounds. In the middle of that action a sail jumped on and gave us a hell of a time. In the afternoon Johnny-O from NJ came out with us. He managed to catch a huge sailfish and some king mackerel. the Sails seem to be biting pretty good, time for a cold one.

th We took Guy Harveys fishing team out for a charity event for cystic fibrosis. A good time was had by all fishing and at the party afterwards.

th-25th It was a good week of fishing and we got out for a lot of trips. The dolphin have been holding about seven miles out and we got fifteen on tuesday including two over 15 pounds. On wednesday we caught a nice sharpnose shark off the bottom and on wednesday and thursday the kings bit good for us on the reef. Our customers thurday caught a real "smoker" or big king and we had our taxidermist take care of it for them. Best bets at the end of the week into the weekend seemed to be the kingfishing on the reef. Around 100 feet of water was the magic number some bluefish were also mixed in.

th-30th Swordfishing offshore has really heated up. This is a night time event. We leave the dock around two in the afternoon and return around two in the morning. Everyone I talked to this qweek that went had some bites and most brought one home. We went out wednesday with an old customer of ours and got him a nice one-good going Hassel! If you are interested in this special trip give us a call. Swordfish are sportfishings ultimate catch! Elsewhere fishing has been a little slow. We had some sailfish action on thursday with live rainbow runners in the kite. Monday dolphin bit well for us when we found a board floating offshore with a bunch hiding under it. We also caught a couple of dolphin and a king out of the kite friday and some sharpnose sharks off the bottom saturday. A pretty good week all considering.
